In April 2015 Council formally considered this proposal and resolved as follows (C14.04.15):
"That Council:
1. Supports in principle the model of the Shire working in partnership with the Darlington community through the Darlington Community Recreation Management Committee for the design and construction of a new community pavilion;
2. Identify the Darlington Community Pavilion project as part of the consultation for the 2016-
2026 Strategic Community Plan review, and if supported through this review process, inclusion of a business case for the Darlington Pavilion upgrade in the Corporate Business Plan. "
